Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 10 October 2026
RIDR is a social app for motorcyclists. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexualised content involving minors. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves and our community to.
1. What is not allowed
- Any content that sexualises or exploits a child, in any form (images, video, text, links or messages)
- Grooming, soliciting or attempting to contact a minor for sexual purposes
- Sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material
- Threatening or coercing a minor, including sextortion
- Using RIDR to arrange meetings with a minor for any harmful purpose
Accounts that break these rules are removed and, where the law requires or allows, reported to the relevant authorities.
2. Who can use RIDR
RIDR is not designed for children. You must be at least 16 to use RIDR, and riders confirm this when they create an account. We remove accounts we believe belong to someone younger.
3. Safeguards built into the app
- Direct messages are only possible between riders who have actually ridden together, and the other rider must accept before any conversation starts. Strangers cannot message you.
- Other riders only ever see an approximate distance. A rider's exact location is never shared.
- Every rider profile, ride and direct message thread has a Report option, and riders can block anyone at any time.
- Private rides are visible only to riders who are invited.
4. How to report a concern
- In the app: open the rider's profile and tap the menu (three dots) > Report, or tap Report on a ride, or use the menu in a direct message thread. Choose the reason that best fits.
- By email: write to hassdigital@gmail.com with the details. Include a link, username or ride name if you can, but please do not forward the content itself.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
5. How we respond
- We review reports of child safety concerns as a priority.
- We remove violating content and suspend or permanently remove the accounts involved.
- We report confirmed CSAM and exploitation to the appropriate authorities, for example the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant national hotline or law enforcement body, and we keep the information the law requires us to keep.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests that follow due process.
6. Contact
Our designated contact for child safety matters is hassdigital@gmail.com. This person is able to speak about our CSAE prevention practices and compliance.
